The city of Antibes Juan-les-Pins is pleased to offer this application intended to highlight some of its notable places or monuments.

If you open this app you have direct access to information corresponding to some sites and monuments of Antibes, and if you leave it off, it will wake up as soon as you approach the location in question.

Thus, provided you have downloaded the application "Antibes Juan Les Pins" on iOS, you will be notified as soon as you approach less than ten meters of a remarkable site.

This notification will invite you to learn more about the places or statues that you can cross by walking in Antibes. By opening the notification, if you agree, text, images and video will be available in connection with these sites. This is a new way to gather interesting information by a means that we wish pleasant and fun.

If you dislike receiving notifications, you can easily deactivate them. On your iPhone, tap the "Settings" icon. Tap "Notifications". Scroll down until you see "Antibes" and select it, then uncheck "Allow Notifications".

The protocol used to communicate with the monuments is the Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth low energy), this means that Bluetooth must be enabled on your smartphone, but it only consumes very little power with a minimal impact and negligible consumption of your battery.

For this application to work correctly, your smartphone must run a version 7 or more, for IOS.

Geolocation features are only used to show you the distance and direction of the sites on the home page and on the page of the map. This information is not stored neither locally nor on the server.

As part of this application, none of your private data travels over the network. No phone number, no first name or last name: NO personal data is used nor transmitted.

If you give your opinion on a monument (with a "like" in the application, symbolized by a heart), this notice is recorded completely anonymously.

Articles, photos, videos published within the application are the property of the City of Antibes Juan-les-Pins and therefore fall within the scope of protection of copyright. The content of the application is protected by intellectual property rights. Total or partial reproduction or representation of the substantial content of this application, one or more of its components, by any means whatsoever without express permission of the town of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by articles L 335-2 of the intellectual Property Code.

The city of Antibes Juan-les-Pins reserves the right at any time to modify or remove data provided or discontinue the service without notice or compensation. In no case shall the City of Antibes Juan-les-Pins be held liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of this application or related to the use of data provided through it.

Any use of the data provided by this application for commercial purposes, or as media or advertising vehicle, other than those relating to persons who have contributed to their design, is strictly prohibited.
